Wireless Power Charger Components ( TX / RX ) 

  

   

The Wireless Power Charger Components are compliant with WPC (Wireless Power Consortium) / Qi. The principle is near filed magnetic induction between power transmitter (base station) and power receiver (mobile device) to transfer the contactless power around 5W.

    

The component is composed of coil, shielding and magnet. The coil is used for magnetoelectric transducer. The shielding material is used to change the magnetic flux path from the coil / magnet to avoid couple the other elements and generate EMI problems. Also reduce heat generated when the receiver coil attached on the mobile device's battery (metal) cause eddy current and power conversion efficiency decrease. The magnet is used for alignment aid when mobile device put on base station (WPC design A1/A5/A9).
